Job Description

Be a trusted leader and category expert in all the Center Store departments. Deliver operational excellence by coaching, developing, and inspiring others to be the best they can be. Ensure that the highest standards of customer

service and store conditions are provided in all of the center store departments. Support the company’s strategic plan by achieving the financial goals. Fulfill 1-3 Manager on Duty shifts per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate and maintain store conditions, including merchandising, in stock/ordering, freshness,

cleanliness, PI and TIL reducing initiatives.

  • Facilitate training programs and skill development
  • Communicate essential information to the center store team for Dairy, Drug, Frozen, GM, Grocery and

Liquor

  • Identify areas of opportunity (including sales, gross profit, expenses, labor, and TIL), to achieve the

financial plan for the center store departments

  • Manage DSD vendor trade partners and their inventory levels
  • Manager on Duty-key holder
  • Partnership with SAS team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Required Education: Please describe (see below)
  • Other Requirements: Bachelor degree preferred or relevant work expereinece considered
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 1 to 3 years

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge

o Working knowledge of current Microsoft Office Suite, IPad, symbols device (CAO), CT2020

Receiving, SharePoint

o Proficient in Schnucks applications (i.e. shelf man, dashboard, Red Prairie, etc.)

o Ability to read and interpret financial reports

o Ability to plan and execute merchandising excellence in all Center Store departments

o Strong knowledge of all six center store departments

o Forklift Certification

o Receiver Certification

o Food Safety Certification Demonstrate resilience, resourcefulness and a positive attitude towards change.

o Effective communication-cascading information

o Ability to coach, develop, and inspire others to be the best they can be-relationship building

o Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality

o Planning and organizational skills (Planning, Organization, Execution, and Follow Through)

o Routinely lift items over 50 lbs., walk/stand for extended periods of time
